So near and yet so faaaaaaar..

All Filipino nurses who challenged the licensure exam last June are definitely rejoicing now. Now the re-takers can loiter around chins up having proven that, leakage or not, they still can pass with no sweat! For them, it doesn't matter if Juan's image worldwide has permanently been tainted with indelible ink. He is still unbeatable work wise. Who wouldn't be if the price for slaving one's self is lots and lots of bucks. Nevermind the stress as long as they can redeem their families from poverty.

Everything's been handy for a nurse now who would want to go overseas. Lucky for them! ..for exams are readily available in Manila & islandwide(?) - TOEFL, TSE, NCLEX. No need to go across the miles and burn money once, twice, thrice. But wait, applying abroad is not as easy as counting 1-2-3. It's a must to have at least 3 years experience, pass the required exams, be certified by the CGFNS, and have a fat and filthy pocket. On 2nd thought, madali na rin kumuha ng experience, what is Recto for? *kidding* =)

It's indeed an in-demand occupation everywhere and the ROI is fast that's why a lot pursue it and for some (doctors, lawyers etc etc) absorb it as a 2nd course. Discard shame and egotism, hello money!

There's a sad news 'though. So many nurses, so little jobs and RETROGRESSION IS BACK!! *boohoo*

Again, patience is a virtue.

BTW, congratulations to my friends who passed: AD, GD and MM!!
