Merli's Aftershock

Forecast says it will be colder the next couple of days. Today is Day 1 and they're right. Agony strikes back esp for Kimi who's had (viral) cough for 5 days now. Brrrr!!! We shall be layering blankets again ala kueh lapis plus thick socks and warm sweaters ala goreng pisang with freshly brewed coffee, hot choco or milk tea on the side. Yes, I love milk tea, and so does Kimi while he was still inside my tummy. =)

Hmm..speaking of milk tea, Ive learned a week ago that Singapore's famous breakfast kaya toast, half boiled eggs and kopi are already available in Manila. Where? Toastbox @Trinoma.

and..and..and..

...other favorites are also available like Mee Siam, Laksa and Nasi Lemak! All of them I like! I missed these dishes and the pickled chilli especially!! *sigh* I havent been there 'though, but, if Manila were only minutes away from Baguio then I could have bathed my tastebuds asap. By the mere thought of it, i'm already drooling.

Sana lang authentic ang lasa like an Uncle's timpla at the hawker center. Perhaps, I'll update as soon as I get a hold of them.
